(Cape Town, South Africa) This National Women’s Day, we celebrated being courageously bold women of South Africa in all the bright colours of the rainbow.

Blessed with blue skies and sunshine, it was a perfect day at Cape Town’s luxury coastal venue, Shimmy Beach Club.

Guests were welcomed with canapes and a wide choice of welcome drinks and cocktails by Graham Beck Bubbly, Wixworth Gin with Fitch&Leedes Tonic, Aperol Spritz, The Duchess Zero Alcohol G&T as well as fresh cold-pressed juice by Mmm Juice; while listening to the uplifting beats by DJ Cosher overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

Eternal Child Beauty also spoiled guests with relaxing hand massages at their pamper station.

Bright & Femininely dressed guests were then led into the restaurant decorated by Limitless Events.

KFM presenter, Mamohau Seseane was our vivacious and beautiful MC for the day, introducing guest speakers Ash Evans followed by the glamorous Beauty Atelier team.

A delicious main course lunch, prepared by Shimmy’s in house executive chef, Adrian Cook, was served and enjoyed by all. Followed by platters of dessert.

Up and coming international singer and songwriter, ‘Mich’ and her dancers performed her debut single, ‘Going Places’ – reminding us that life is ours for the taking and that we should not waste it.

A few lucky guests received gifts in the lucky-draw giveaway and everyone went home with a goodie bag.
